Reservation System Implementation - The MITRE Corporation
In the new era of hybrid work, MITRE went from having almost all employees on campus five days a week, to the vast majority of employees splitting their time between home and the office with many agreeing to give up designated offices in favor of that flexibility. The current reservation system could not support booking conference rooms as well as the new need to book personal office space. IBM Tririga was implemented to replace the outdated reservations system and to meet the changing landscape of user needs.
Work I delivered for this project
UX Audit of Tririga System to determine if the system would meet user needs
Presented to stakeholders with prioritized list of recommendations
Ran Early User Pilot, gathering feedback of 40-50 participants to learn where support and customization was needed
Cross team planning for company wide rollout of IBM Tririga and deprecation of former system
Creation and deployment of user training documents and live training sessions
Design and Implementation of user facing informational landing page
Gathered and documented post rollout user feedback to prioritize for development team
Impact
The new system provides a simple interface that integrates well into other MITRE systems. The landing page and guides provide a place for updated information as users adjust to the transition as well as an easy place to provide continued feedback.
